"The Order of the Rose Cross is holy, for its goal is to sanctify the meeting that produces life. The cross is, par excellence, the symbol of life and not of death. It speaks to us of the law of exchanges, of begetting and of the permanent renewal of life through the union of the two worlds."

The opening of a current of the Rose Cross within the community is the principal event of this year 1996. In the 1600s, in Europe, the mystical movement of the Rose Cross, which appeared in the form of a secret initiatory community, used as a support for teaching and meditation a rose flowering at the centre of a cross. Essenes had conceived this symbol so as to counterbalance the profoundly negative image of the crucifix. Verticality, spirit fecundate horizontality, matter, and from this union is born the rose, perfect symbol of pure and sacred love.

"In approaching the question of the sacred confraternity of brothers and sisters of the Rose Cross, we touch upon one of the most grandiose, elevated and essential subjects of humanity and of its history. The Rose Cross, if it existed in the past, also manifests itself in the present and its message of Light and great hope for humanity is totally adapted to contemporary life. The holy assembly of the Rose Cross cultivates the secret science of idealistic and mystical art as a means of ennobling man. At all times and inside all peoples, schools of mysteries have appeared so as to open a path towards the kingdom of plenitude, of perfection, of vertical flourishing towards the highest beauty. We invite you not only to walk with us on this path of the Christi-Rose-Cross confraternity, but also to participate in its new manifestation present within our initiatory school. The temple of the Rose Cross is not necessarily an initiatory, secret, hidden order, but it is the very principle of all temples, of every place where one goes to pray and work, to study. It is a temple-school, it is a school of mysteries. These are places of the soul on earth, places where one can enter. When a soul enters this temple of the Rose Cross, it is truly in a permanent study and prayer, a permanent union with the Most High that can be done inside.

Such an experience is absolutely not in opposition with contemporary life, quite the contrary, it enables one to find the strength to beautify society and above all to give it a new meaning that is clearer and better mastered by man. To be truly new, this look must come from above, from the source of the universal spirit. It is the task of the Rose Cross to bring this look upon the world and to launch cyclic appeals to humanity, to put it on guard in a friendly and free way.

On earth, there exists a veritable communion of soul among all well-intentioned beings and it is to them that the invisible confraternity of the contemporary Rose Cross addresses itself. After the Templar teaching, the current of the Rose Cross is reborn within the School, offering a large part to the wisdom of sciences, to theatre and to the artistic side. Meetings and seminars take place in different locations, principally in the centre of France. About thirty adepts choose to participate in it and will give life again to the veritable invisible confraternity of the Rose Cross, to this ancient mystical order of authentic masters. For Olivier, it is clear that man on the path must associate himself with divine writings and symbols so as to create for himself a body of immortality.

"All the initiations that you will have realized, this is what will remain of your passage on earth after your death. Practising them enables you to create for yourself a body of immortality, that is to say a body that will enable you to find again, in your next incarnation, the consciousness of what you will have worked on in this life. Here is a clear example:

One day, with Magali, we are driving towards Lyon when car problems manifest. From the motorway where we are, we search with our gaze for a place in the surroundings where we could stop to sleep. We suddenly feel attracted by a small church perched on a hill that seems to call us.

In crossing the small village that leads there, we pass before a house on which is engraved a rose with a cross. We understand immediately that we find ourselves in a village built formerly by an esoteric mystical community. In the cemetery near the church, all the tombs are covered with esoteric symbols: squares, compasses... It is visibly the cemetery of an ancient confraternity. Suddenly, I find myself before my own tomb, and the memory comes back to me. I see again the life that I lived in this place and which brought me back towards this spot. I linger over my tombstone, the only thing that remained of me on earth apart from my memory, still existing, and the capacity to remember, because I had realized a work. I had left traces and it is these traces that I had just followed. Thus is life. If they catch you and they put you in a life where there is nothing, all that you will have done will extinguish itself with you. On the other hand, if you associate writings and symbols with higher worlds, this will remain and will enable you to find your own trace again."

The Village of Terranova takes its first steps towards a golden age, of love and peace, in conscious alliance with all kingdoms. All live there in a dialogue and mutual support for the advent of a new way of being in the world. They aspire to build a world within the world where nature is queen, where the kingdoms of earth and heaven can live together, from minerals up to the Gods, working in unison in a veritable harmony.

"The ancient peoples that one can call first or primitive were ultimately very close to the Mother. The first men worked the drum a great deal. They called the Gods, they called the spirits, they called the Mother because they had understood the step on the ground and the secrets hidden in the eardrum, the ear, the foot. If you do not know how to walk on earth, you do not know how to live, you have no consciousness.

We see today a distancing from the Mother. What men call evolution is a great madness. What men call culture, that is to say the cult of the senses, has been uprooted from its origin."

July 1996. Great problems and illnesses surge forth here and there in the world, bringing to birth a great disarray. Water, air, earth become more and more denatured and polluted. The students are questioning themselves regarding the attitude to adopt and the solutions to consider. Olivier answers them:

"Faced with the events of these last years: appearance of AIDS, affair of contaminated blood, creation of an illness that degenerates animals and humans by making them ingest meat, each of us must awaken in the reality of generalized black magic practised to excess by a certain category of scientists. This illness of the sheep and of the mad cow, if it is transmissible to man, threatens a great part of the population of Europe. This is what scientists play with, and everyone continues to place trust in all these people who no longer respect anything and serve only personal and financial interests. I invite you to be wary, for all is falsehood, deception, falsification. Find rather the Light inside you and be vigilant.

What few people suspect and even cannot imagine is in the process of occurring. Even fruits and vegetables are more and more genetically manipulated. Genetic manipulations take place on you without your knowledge through sunscreens, oils, medications, and this without any information and any assent on your part. They think that through genetics, they can improve plants, animals and relieve humanity of its ills, but it is above all the economic point of view that interests them. Before all this, the path of inner awakening is more and more topical, for without this path, humanity is lost. All these manipulations will only turn it away from its inner life until rendering this life foreign to consciousness.

More and more, the force of profound feelings coming from the authentic heart is disappearing. Clear, luminous, living thoughts, noble and high aspirations are fading and this is a flagrant sign of a great degeneration of humanity. Be wary therefore of what you eat and of all that comes from the world."

The book "A Healthy Spirit in a Healthy Body" by Peter Deunov is published this year. And in December 1996, Olivier Martin publishes a masterful and unique book in world literature which is entitled "Peace".
