The New Passover
"Today, the Essenes bring to the world a new vision of this celebration, a vision that ennobles man by enjoining him to make the greatest of sacrifices: that of his identification with the body and with the personality that directs his life and prevents him from rising towards the Light."
To celebrate the new Passover is to celebrate the God of spring, the God of love, of the Light, of lightness, the God of opening towards the higher worlds where all things take on a dimension of grandeur and life.
The masters and initiates of former times called spring the "Passover" and they said that it was the resurrection. Each year, there had to be beings who committed themselves on the path of resurrection so that all men be blessed through them. This had to be a permanent process: it was not only about celebrating the memory of a single man, but about showing that there existed a higher path and that man had to resurrect. The resurrected Christ, it was not simply Jesus, it was in reality all men.
"This new Passover wants to elevate the other Passovers to a higher level, for no animal is sacrificed, but it is man himself who makes the sacrifice of what is mortal in him so that the Light can live in his life and so that this be an offering agreeable to God.
I am going to recount to you how a small group of Essenes entered into contact with the wisdom of Archangel Raphael and discovered the secrets of resurrection and of the new Passover, revealed by a mountain.
We thus had the habit, with several friends who lived in the Essene Village of Terranova, of going to climb the sacred mountains of the Pyrenees, like the Soularac, the Tabor, the Tristagne or the Font Blanca, so as to pray there, meditate and sing. These mountains, which are living beings, looked at us and appreciated us: an intimate bond had been woven between us. For them, we represented the Cathar tradition returning like birds.
This thus truly began in these mountains of the Pyrenees and of Ariège. These mountains lived with the world of Passover, of spring, of renewal. They were beings of Passover, the guardians of the secrets of resurrection who taught us how to celebrate this renewal, notably through the tracing of a sacred circle represented by a bracelet that we had to wear on ourselves. The goal was to remove from us the beast skin, the obscurity with which man clothed himself when he separated himself from the divine, these 'garments of skin' of which it is said that Adam and Eve were covered after having been chased from paradise. To remove the beast skin is to enter resurrection, the new life. They spoke to us of the Egypt of the pharaohs, of Moses, of Saint John the Baptist, of Jesus and finally, of the new Passover, which was bound to Saint John the Evangelist and to his aura of Light, which was the veritable offering to God. By transmitting to us a new vision of Passover and of redemption, they taught us how to celebrate the renewal of life in spring, how to celebrate the new Passover."
There is a being that inhabits in man, that speaks and acts through him: it is the personality, the identification with the body. Resurrection is to free oneself from this identification with the mortal self, with the personality, so as to find again contact with our soul, with what is immortal in us. To celebrate Passover is to sacrifice the beast skin, the dark side, so as to make the Light appear.
"Through the intermediary of this magical bracelet and of a ritual that lasted one year and was reactivated at each full moon, we had to keep at a distance a fault anchored in us and to free ourselves from it definitively. This ritual was very demanding, even dangerous if we did not arrive at the sought result. But it was extremely instructive, for it enabled us to increase our discernment and to observe with rigour and discipline in what manner this fault could use us and weave itself into our daily life.
The dead are not there where we believe them to be; the dead are the men and women who live in this world and who are dead to the veritable life by taking there a mortal body. After death, no one can resurrect since man lives in the hereafter only the consequence of what he lived on earth. Thus, the path of the resurrection of the dead must be accomplished during the earthly incarnation, and this is what Jesus and all the great masters have called the path of the second birth.
Resurrection precedes life, and it is through Initiation that man can come out of death and enter the land of the living. This land is vivified by the thoughts, feelings and wills most pure of men who have vanquished the exterior light and the attraction of the physical body. This victory over identification with the body is what the Essene tradition calls: to remove the beast skin."
Man must awaken; he must develop this aura of Light and no longer accumulate in him anything negative by living with his soul. Such are the true resurrection and the true Passover that open a higher life: the dark being that lives in man in place of his true nature must be removed. The new Passover is no longer celebrated through sacrifices, but through a man who takes his life in hand so as to elevate all beings in reconciliation and so as to go himself towards a higher world.
"To know the new Passover, it was thus requested of us to detach ourselves from what is not us, that is to say from our faults, to put them outside a sacred space and to let them continue their life knowing that they will of themselves transform themselves because they have no existence of their own. To accomplish Passover is to seal an alliance with the Angels, to ask that they surround us so that the sacrifice of faults be accomplished.
When man begins to effect this cleansing, to detach himself from the counter-virtues that direct his life, he no longer puts the fault of his problems on God or on his entourage, but he takes himself in hand; he enters a path of royalty and dignity. Through his work on himself, he liquidates little by little his karmic debts and he enters a path of liberation and resurrection. This is the new Passover, which will evolve subsequently with the Round of Archangels."
Indeed, some years later, the ritual given by the mountain will transform itself: the Essenes will no longer seek to remove a fault or a counter-virtue but will accomplish together a work so as to unite themselves with virtues, which are the Angels, conducting Passover towards a higher dimension. This ritual of the bracelet will thus be at the origin of the divine practice of the Round of Archangels, which will appear in 2006.
"Through the current Round of Archangels, which consists in taking care of virtues and balancing counter-virtues, we decide to no longer make our faults weigh upon the beings that surround us, but to take our life in hand and to disengage ourselves through a higher wisdom: this is the new Passover.
The experience of the bracelet enabled us to understand that this being that we call 'me', convinced that it is us, is in fact a shadow. It is the being that the Tradition names the 'tempting serpent'. Created by dark worlds - which are simply the worlds of man - it stands inside all men. Unconsciously, we live with this serpent and we maintain it all our life, unless we manage to free ourselves from it.
This method of the new Passover enabled us to purify ourselves by removing from us these beings, these forces, these dark spirits bound to death and enabled us, by transforming them, to reconstruct ourselves, to form for ourselves another body, to go towards a new evolution."
What one man does alone is not worth much. On the other hand, when a multitude realizes, it is grandeur, it is marvel. To participate in the new Passover, in the current resurrection and to give a body to the divine world on earth is the greatest work of Light.
