Opening of an Initiatory School
"My Angel had revealed to me: 'You will begin to speak and to teach and you will open a school. The life and destiny of all those who will come to your meditations and who will listen to you speak will be transformed.'
I was shy and I did not want to speak in public nor carry others! What I wanted was to find God. I thus did not believe it, but when I began to do it, I saw that it was true and it is thus that I continued."
At the beginning of 1991, world news is concentrated on a subject that has long made people talk about it: the Gulf War. The media bombardment around this war becomes for Olivier Martin a source of reflection: for him, it was as if this media intelligence wanted to take hold of the direction of human consciousness at the world level. He would have wanted to act, because he too felt concerned by this war, but he could not. He realized that they were in fact passive spectators, powerless before the vision of the world that an active minority imposed through force, falsehood and manipulation. He was veritably aware of the trap, because such a vision of the world pushes man to divest himself of responsibility, to accept everything, to become unconscious and insensitive.
It is following this war that he begins, through a few lectures, to express that all these processes aim to weaken humanity, to degrade it to make it take on a karma, a dark destiny. Humanitarian organizations animated by people of good will bring their help, but in a climate of artificial peace. These men and women who, with much courage, oppose war do not bring real solutions, neither in the short term nor in the long term. All these beings are sincere but cannot act effectively.
"Those who do humanitarian work without putting their finger on what is essential only maintain a system that is false. It is wisdom that is the answer to a humanity adrift. Peace is an eternal Angel situating himself above man, and man must be a servant of this Angel, place himself at his school to promote peace in the world. All men are connected to a common superior consciousness and can become students of the Angel of peace, it is then that peace can be envisaged and become possible. But if men refuse the common superior consciousness and also the reality of the Angels, then war is inevitable."
Before all this imbalance, Olivier becomes aware that the Johannite tradition that calls him can veritably change the life of each individual and place him in the light of truth. This will constitute the first signs and first foundations of the school of wisdom that he will institute afterwards. It is thus that this war decides him to come out of his spiritual isolation and to go towards others. He knew himself to be the bearer of an essential message, but also of a forgotten know-how that he wanted to transmit for the good of all.
"In 1991, during the Gulf War, my Angel asked me to elaborate and organize meditations for peace. At first, I was reticent to grant his wish, but I did it. And it is then that, afterwards, I was able to begin to teach in the tradition and lineage of Masters Deunov, Aïvanhov and Rudolf Steiner."
And it is thus that Olivier organizes his first lectures and guided meditations for peace, in Normandy and in Brittany, sharing the fruits of his knowledge. Overcoming his shyness, he knows how to create atmospheres, interest his audience, guide meditations. He teaches how to reconnect with the most subtle worlds so that the Angels and protectors who guide each human and each people can participate in the life of men and support them to triumph over trials. He begins to spread the words of a superior teaching and he will not stop anymore. In his life, despite obstacles or what seems unrealizable, insurmountable to him, everything will coordinate itself with great precision.
It proves rapidly that it would be useful to gather all the disciples and good wills by creating an initiatory school. This becomes for Olivier an evidence and a necessity. Each one could then grow and awaken by developing there the exercise of speech, of song, of movement and of meditation following the art of the initiatory schools of the cosmic tradition.
"May the will of the Most High be accomplished on earth as in heaven. May all beings be blessed and conducted towards the great goal. Love one another, and take care of the good in one another as the Supreme loves you and takes care of you."
During the summer of 1991, from August 16 to 18, Olivier gives his first seminar in Nantes. Christian Mussot was present and recalls his very first instants near Olivier: "One felt him a bit awkward, but filled with a high wisdom, a great mastery, just recovering from elevated initiations that gave him a foundation, an aura and an indisputable presence. We sang and danced much."
Olivier centres his words around the science of the harmonious development of man, drawing as always his inspiration from the source of the great universal knowledge.
The day after this first seminar, on August 19, 1991, Olivier announces the opening of the Initiatory School of Solar Culture. He defines it as a school of wisdom, direct heir of the ancient initiatory schools. The year 1991 is an important year, it represents the year of Melchizedek and of the Instructor of the world. This date is not the fruit of chance but corresponds to the end of a cycle of work in the invisible and subtle side of earth. This divine school becomes the last school and the youngest of all the centres of instruction of the cosmic tradition. A divine school is a place, a structure, a framework, a teaching, a community that make possible the encounter with the divine. It indicates to students the path of the great Sun-Truth, origin and sublime goal of all life. This school will progress through the help and trust that those who support it grant it.
"If you ask me what is necessary to earth at our time, I answer you that it needs love and living hearts that can capture this force and radiate it on earth. Such hearts can be constituted by the free union of several individuals who, in an absolutely impersonal way, want to work for the good of all beings. To constitute such living hearts is one of the tasks of the current of Saint John for our time."
The lectures multiply, as well as numerous spontaneous talks on the most varied subjects, unveiling the presence of a sacred invisible world and a knowledge that only asks to fructify.
In Toulon, during an encounter of several days, Olivier grasps in the subtle worlds that a divine hierarchy accepts his work and encourages it and that a structure of Light begins to settle down on his nascent school. Afterwards, he leaves to perform intense work in the mountains of Haute-Provence. Here is what he writes about it in the first monthly letter addressed to his students, dating from December 1991:
"To become one with the solar man is the supreme aspiration of the awakened man. This collective objective can be realized in the schools of solar mysteries of the current of Saint John. During the seminar in Toulon, we were able to do magnificent work and invite into our community of Light very beautiful and very pure forces. Then, a more internal work took place in the mountains of Haute-Provence where there is a door for the country of Light: Shamballa. I rejoice to tell you that our nascent school has been accepted by the divine hierarchy and that a structure of Light has been given to it."
Olivier feels that he begins to resurrect the very essence of this ancestral tradition of Light that he has received in heritage. He now wants to find a place of life to settle down his school and enable all its members to gather to strengthen and better coordinate their work.
